No popcorn for us…

[ad#AS-InArticle-TopWrap]

My family just got a new popcorn maker and Chris liked it so much, he even wrote a review about it, West Bend Stir Crazy Popper.

Here’s my question, when will the dogs get some? Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, while popcorn may not be bad for us, the kernels are not digestible.  Please keep in mind though, that I’m a lab and we love to eat almost as much as we love to retrieve.

This stuff smells so good every night, its just not fair.  I have to watch the little machine go round and round until they finally take the top off and it smells like pure heaven.

Okay, so maybe I exaggerate a little bit. But, I would still like some.

Sometime later…

I spoke with Abigail about this. She said I can have a little, but if I get too much it might upset my tummy.  She also said for dogs its better to have it without butter!

Now comes the hard question. How do I get the humans to give me some?

Wish me luck!

    Shadow,

I think your best chance of getting some popcorn is to sit at their feet and catch all the dropped pieces. Your owners will thank you for cleaning up after them and you score some free treats!

  2. Lucky for us our humans are sloppy eaters. We also distract them and sometimes they drop the bowls.

  3. Hmm did you see the movie shrek, where puss in boots makes this cute/sad cat face? maybe you can do that to your family for them to feel bad for you? then they’ll eventually give you popcorn yay!

  4. Shadow,

We gave our dog Slinky hot aired popcorn (no butter) and no other people food. When my son went into the Marine’s Slinky went to live with my ex husband. Slinky will not eat their popcorn maybe because it’s microwavable.

IDK maybe dog’s prefer air aired popcorn I know that dog eats everything else. That or it brings back memories of home.

Do you do tricks? Perhaps that will help.
